4 Things to Know About CACS
The Centre for Africa-China Studies (CACS) was established in November of 2018 within the University of Johannesburg.
- CACS’ research stems from a broad focus that spans the entirety of Africa-China relations; covering economic relations, people-to-people relations and Africa-China in international forums.
- CACS, which is based in South Africa, is in the process of constructing an Africa-China Win-Win Index (ACWWI) which will be released and populated on an annual basis.
CACS maintains an international network of scholars and experts in five countries, including four of the BRICS countries; South Africa, Brazil, Russia, China, Ethiopia and Kenya.
