About the webinar

Africa has an abundance of natural resources and possesses a significant share of global mineral reserves. As a result, the continent has been regarded as a prime location for energy development. Africa’s resources are becoming increasingly important as the global economy grows and the demand for energy increases.

The global energy landscape is currently undergoing profound changes, particularly since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war. Africa has gradually become a chessboard of the energy game for countries all over the world. This webinar brings together experts in the field to discuss the various energy strategies used by China and Western countries in Africa, as well as their implications.
