Webinar on Covid-19 cooperation between China and the US
On 23 August 2021, the South African Students in China Association (SASC), in partnership with the CACS, held a Zoom webinar on ‘COVID-19 Cooperation by Two Superpowers, China and the United States: What can South Africa learn?’
The programme director was Mr Sibusiso Bakana, SASCA president. The presenters included:
- Mr Eric Olander, journalist and co-founder of the China-Africa Project;
- Ms Becky Shen, co-founder, Eternal Rise Asia Pacific Ltd;
- Dr David Monyae, Co-Director, UJ CACS and UJ Confucius institute;
- Dr Bandile Masuku, health professional and former MEC for Health, Gauteng.
The closing remarks were delivered by Dr Emmanuel Matambo, Director of Research, CACS.
